What is a Digital Garden

An open collection of notes, resources, sketches, and explorations I'm currently cultivating. Some notes are Seedlings, some are budding, and some are fully grown Evergreen.

Publishing notes on the web in a digital garden differs from a blog in that it does not focus on the publication of fully researched articles. The goal is to publish small, even unfinished pieces of knowledge that are interlinked and gradually grow into complete notes over time.

All notes together create the digital garden where, as in a physical garden, notes in their different state of 'growth' exist beside each other. The job of the gardener (hence: me) is to improve the notes, prune unnecessary and outdated content and keep this site that is the garden nice and tidy.

Tools for PKM naturally serve as a data basis here. For Obsidian, my PKM of choice, there is of course a corresponding plugin, which I have also used to implement this digital garden.
